Abstract:With the construction of digital museums and smart museums, museums have generated a large amount of digital resources, open operational data, and various information system data based on their original collection information. These data continue to grow at an explosive rate. However, the increase in data also exposes some problems, such as data being too scattered, lacking unified definitions and architectures, and increasing difficulty in searching for the required data. Therefore, how to effectively leverage the business value of data based on data governance has become an important issue in the intelligent construction of museums. On the basis of analyzing the current situation and problems of museum collection data management, the article proposes a series of principles and mechanisms for museum collection data governance.
