“Linux operating system management”is a core course in the fields of computer science and software engineering，which can help students master the use of various tools and functions to solve tasks such as multi-user management and network communication. The article analyzes the research and current situation of Linux course driven teaching at home and abroad，focusing on sorting out the existing problems from three aspects：teaching content，teaching methods，and evaluation system. Based on this，a project driven teaching mode for the course “Linux operating system management”is proposed，aiming to adhere to the student-centered approach，strengthen project driven teaching，and establish a multidimensional assessment system. By implementing the project driven approach，the application of this method in the“Linux operating system management”course was deeply explored，aiming to improve students ability to solve practical project problems through course optimization and provide reference for cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents.
